Not only will the clay have more trouble sticking onto metal, the cut up clay pieces will be less likely to stick onto each other, which results in easier borehole draining. Due to the strong cleaning effect and the widespread presence of clay, it is recommended to always add a small amount of the detergent to the drilling fluid. (approx. 1 liter/m3)
