Modiflow 050

MODIFLOW 050 is a special polymer developed for the preparation of drilling fluid when it is undesirable for solid material to mix into the fluid. Generally, this is the case when constructing drainage systems by means of horizontal directional drilling. Important factors here are the biodegradability of the rinse and the filtration rate of the installed drainage.

MODIFLOW 050 stabilizes sand and gravel in a reliable manner. It builds up a good 10 sec gel strength and delivers a high yield point at a low flow rate. At low flow rates, this product delivers excellent carrying capacity of drilled soil. MODIFLOW 050 puts loose sand grains together, but maintains a good water carrying formation.

MODIFLOW 050 is to be used by itself and cannot be combined with bentonite as this will cause flocculation.
