Mudsystems

For the successful execution of a horizontal directional drilling, the drill fluid system (mud system) is at least as important as the drilling machine. It must be possible to influence the quality as well as the flow of the drilling fluid during the drilling operation in a controllable manner.

Mud systems – characteristics:

• Good mixture of the drilling fluid (mix systems)
• Controlled and constant flow (pump systems)
• Complete stand-alone mud systems possible (mix/pump systems)
