The compact 11 tonnes HDD mid-range drill rig

The MT 11×39 Powerdrill is built for highly demanding drilling operations and is equipped with a 72 kW ( 98 pk ) Deutz diesel engine. This machine has a torque of 3,900 Nm and a tractive force of 11 tons. The machine comes with 152.5 meters worth of drill pipes on board and a drilling fluid pump with a capacity of of 189 liter/min. The one piece forged 2.375 ” FS drill pipes have a minimum bend radius of 33.0 m. The compact design with a 5.50 meter length and 1.75 meter width makes it possible to work in areas with space limitations. The machine comes with a heated cabin. This cabin is outfitted with all necessary control elements for comfortable working conditions. Electronic controls are only used where their presence is advantageous. Secondary functions are, whenever possible, controlled directly.

The MT 11×39 is also available as a ‘Rockdrill’ version with a double drill pipe system for drilling rocks. The simple and fast method for exchanging inner pipes makes it possible to switch from drilling soil to drilling rock with minimal time losses.
